Do you know the shortest route from Windermere to MCO Orlando Airport, among other airports in Central FL?
Imagine it's 3:30am. You are just about to roll over when you hear the annoying sound off in the distance. First you think it was that extra hotdog you ate just before bedtime. Then you imagine it's a train blaring its horn. Then you realize there are no trains that run close to you. Out of the fog, you realize it's your alarm.
It's that time. You have to pull your weary bones out of the bed. You have to get up either way because you put your alarm clock on the other side of the room so you'd have to get up. Your partners groans and nudges you.
You have to get up. You know you have to catch the first flight out at 6:30. You know you need to be there at 4:30am. You realize you can fudge a little, but on a monday morning at Orlando International, no telling if you will make it.
You finally kick yourself out of the bed. You stumble into the shower. After the shower, you think about laying down on the floor and getting 6 more minutes.
Next stress, shows up. It dawns on you what it would mean to miss this flight. Images of your customers, bosses and others frowning at you for being so clumsy and unreliable, you couldn't even make the flight.
So, you throw your stuff together, jump in the car and drive. You are 15 minutes into the drive when you realize, you forgot an important accessory, but you agree with yourself that you will make time to pick something up in the airport to compensate.
You arrive at MCO, realize that parking at the Hyatt is better because you can shave off time by not having to run through the tunnel to get to the terminal.
Fast forward 30 minutes. You are being frisked by an annoyed TSA agent. Yes, I have a metal plate in my ankle. Sorry....
You grab yourself Starbucks and finally settle into your seat. Shortly thereafter, the smell of jet fuel fills the cabin, and you know you are about to take off.
It's 6:35, you are stressed and realize you have the whole rest of your day ahead of you: meetings, smiles, the gambit.
Now imagine a different story. Your alarm goes off at 4:00. You packed the night before. Your suitcase is standing by the door. You hop in the shower, grab a cup of coffee and are met at 4:30 by your chauffeur.
You decide to bring a pillow with you, so you can get a couple of extra zzzz on drive to the airport.
You pull up in a luxurious limo and the chauffeur opens the door for you. You step out, check in at curbside. You casually make your way to your gate. No stress. Yes, you get frisked, but that is because of the metal plate. We can't fix that.
Now, it's 6:35, you are the plane, you are on your second cub of starbucks and you begin to prepare for your day.
The low stress and extra nap time, helped you. You are ready, no matter what they throw at you.
